Just spent a week in the Love Ocean View Room-fine views, spacious room, and a cozy vibe! Breakfast had lots of options, though the service could've been better. A beautiful spot to unwind! Definitely worth a return visit.

The hotel has a unique location, to the smaller local restaurants. Also, it is very close to the beaches asw, a hill, and the main shopping areas. Make sure you stay in the king room with a view.

Many good things to be told about this hotel. First of all, the extraordinary kindness (even by Thai standards) and also effectiveness of the stuff. The rooms have a lot of space and nicely decorated. Free wi-fi is is fast and trouble free. They have music & dvd library in every room easy to use. The restaurant is delicate and superb. Starting from breakfast with on order prepared high quality coffee (you may ask for a real espresso, or real cappuccino), not like often in hotel to use the half hour standing hot pot. The lunch or dinner food is real gourmet experience. The sea & hill views are magnificent from nearly every room's terrace.
For someone the location may not be ideal as it is on hills, so you must use shuttle bus (they have 6 free shuttle buses per day) to go to the beach. This is not for someone willing to have direct access to the beach. You must be fit enough to walk in those hills or the steps between your room & reception, restaurant, etc. (or to use the club electric car :)

It was very clean, the staff were prompt and corteous. The shuttle bus facilities were fantastic and well organized. The gym was amazing with state Of the art equipment. The rooms were spotless and I had a fantastic experience and would recommend the Mantra to my friends and family!

The warm welcome at reception made a fantastic first impression, and the celebration cake in our room was a good surprise.
The wifi was quite inconsistent, especially around the pool area, disappointing for a hotel of this caliber.

"You will feel better than in your own home" that's their purpouse and I can confirm that they did. We stayed for 4 nights, and It has been the best hotel ever. Food in restaurant was so great that we didn't want to go out from the hotel, swimming pool, surrondings, views, and staff will make your stay perfect. If I would have to come back to Samui I will book for sure on Mantra Samui.

The infinity pool was gorgeous...the staff was friendly and didn't have a problem driving us to our room which was up hill using a golf cart and back down to reception when we were leaving for the day.
They didn't give us new towels everyday, and when we asked for someone to fix the toilet, nobody came to fix it. They also tried to charge me again for the 4 nights we stayed there, upon checking out, and I had to explain to them that Booked.net already charged me the full payment when I booked the hotel, it was fully prepaid, i guess because I didn't register myself at Booked.net, that's why I was charged straight away. I was really shocked, so I showed them the charges on my online banking from June, when I booked the hotel. That ruined the nice experience.

Loved the organic bamboo charcoal shampoo and the divine pool views while sipping their strawberry daiquiri! Staff were super attentive and even fixed my bed issue pronto. If you're into chill vibes and fine surroundings, this place is a must!
Honestly loved everything but if I had to be picky, the area was very steep. It was tiring walking from our room to the pools/restaurant, but they offer a free shuttle service. Plus, it was quite remote. Renting a scooter is a smart move.

The best thing was the view of rooms and pool. Very good place for honeymoon.
Just being far from everything else seemed like an issue. The reception entrance seemed more like a garage. Beside pool there was small room for sunbathing and beds were very pushed together.

I travelled in a group with my 2 sisters on a birthday treat- holiday. Pampering and relaxation was our aim and this resort certainly lived up to those expectations. The staff were very friendly, helpful and assisted us to book an excursion and to go into the neighbouring villages. The service was excellent. The facilities do not disappoint either. we thoroughly enjoyed the cookery class at the resort delivered by the sous chef. We would all recommend a stay here.
The resort is located on a hill. It is necessary to use the resort's bus shuttle to get around or hike a motorcycle. The shuttle bus is complementaty and the timetable is very convenient.
